Subway has the capability to back vocal groups and has shared the stage with groups that include: The Crystals, The Coasters, Archie Bell, The Shirelles, Jerry Reed, The Platters, and Bill Pinckney and the Original Drifters. |

Subway was formed in the 1960's by Terry Lewis. . .and they’ve been rocking ever since. Featuring a repertoire that ranges from Little Richard to Keith Richards, Subway has entertained across generations. Subway is a band that can perform in any setting: clubs, festivals, weddings, fairs, and anywhere else people want to have a good time. They were once called “West Virginia’s number one party band” by a reviewer.
Long before Live Aid, Subway was also doing its part to help those less fortunate. The annual Fabulous Oldies Dance hosted by Subway raises money for disabled children. Over the years, this exciting SRO event has built a loyal following who come back again and again.

Just in time for Spring, Ripete Records will be releasing a specially priced 2 CD collection entitled Old School Shag - Celebrating The Sound. A few tunes from this release have already been let out of the bag including Little Esther's Don't Feel Rained On, King Ed and BD's Is You Is Or Is You Ain't, and The Fabulous Hot Dog Daddy-O's To Be My Girl. All of these tunes have that classic, old school feel that will be the theme of this compilation.
